Exploring Health Science Careers

Since 1995, students from all over the country have participated in the Na-ha-shnee STEAM summer program. This three-day summer day camp at Washington State University Spokane invites youth to discover health science careers through hands-on learning experiences taught by healthcare providers, WSU Spokane faculty, and health sciences students.

Participants explore life on the WSU Spokane campus and gain exposure to healthcare professions.

Registration for Summer 2026 will open Spring 2026.

Meet Aurora

I participated in this program because I wanted to explore careers. My mom got me into this program last year and I am so grateful she decided to get me involved. Na-ha-shnee has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and I will always remember and be grateful for these experiences with NAHS.
