Native American Health Sciences
Pathways to success
Native American Health Sciences (NAHS) offers pathway and support programs to recruit, matriculate, and help students succeed as they pursue healthcare careers in medicine, nursing, pharmaceutical sciences, nutrition and exercise physiology, speech and hearing sciences, and other allied health sciences.
While NAHS lives on the WSU Spokane campus, we serve students, staff, and faculty across our five campuses and rural communities throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Youth Programs
Our Na-ha-shnee youth programs offer unique experiences for youth to explore healthcare fields and deepen their education in the foundational sciences that are essential to their ongoing academic journey. From teddy bear clinics to summer day camps, all ages can find opportunities for learning.
Support NAHS
Native American Health Sciences Fund
This fund allows the Office of Native American Health Sciences to meet its most urgent needs in the areas of teaching, scholarship, student support, research and community driven initiatives.
Support for the Native American Health Sciences Excellence fund will provide transformational opportunities for students and will aid in student academic success while providing a culturally holistic centered space for our communities to engage.
